While most clients I serve are local to Jacksonville, Fl- I am willing to travel up to 2 hours for an additional travel fee of $50 per hour!
This is a great question and an important one. My approach to sessions are very documentary. I will guide you, place you, and help prompt the littles. Don't get me wrong, sometimes a part of documentary sessions include looking at the camera and smiling, but most sessions are spent hanging out with your loved ones, cuddling and playing with one another, and really allowing the kids to lead the way. Especially if you have young littles, you will be highly disappointed if you have high expectations of them standing still and smiling at the camera. This creates a lot of stress on mama. Being in this season of having young ones, my approach takes the stress off and creates beautiful memories that are genuine to the season and the moments. If posed family images are what you're looking for, we may not be a good fit.
I do offer heavy styling assistance and guidance if wanted! I recommend booking enough in advance so that we can talk about your vision and styling the family. Location/wardrobe/planning all play a big role and heavily rely upon another in the outcome of your final images. But don't stress, I am here along the way to help with it all!
Absolutely! In fact, I strongly encourage it. It really brings out the natural emotions, and comfortability of the session. Love ice cream? Let's have your session at an ice cream shop. Love playing sports? Let's have your session on a field and play soccer or football. Just love being at the beach? Let's have your session at the beach! I am all about artfully documenting your family, and if you have a vision for your session, we will make it happen!
Yes, if the family dog responds well to others in public, and the location allows for them, you can absolutely bring your dog. I recommend bringing another person who won't be involved in the session to help watch the dog if you want images without them.
